Haematological cancer in former students and employees of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) resulted in two cases being brought to court. The survivors claimed damages from the state as employer. The Court of Appeal did not agree that there was a causal relationship between the working environment and the illnesses, basing its decision on statements from the medical experts.
