On page 1314 of issue no. 15/2022 of the Journal of the Norwegian Medical Association, the following should be written in the English version of the article: People with a mutation in the genes CDKN2A and CDK4 have a significantly increased risk of melanoma (2, 5). We recommend that these patients, as well as patients with a strong family history of melanoma, be offered annual check-ups with a dermatologist, using digital dermatoscopy where possible in those with the abovementioned gene mutation (5).
