Stei­nar An­dre­sen (born 1951)

is a pol­it­ical scientist specialising in inter­national pol­it­ics and Re­search Pro­fes­sor (Re­sear­cher I) at the Fridt­jof Nan­sen In­sti­tu­te. He has also been a Pro­fes­sor at the In­sti­tu­te of Pol­it­ical Scien­ce, Uni­ver­si­ty of Oslo (2002 – 06). He has authored a number of books and articles on inter­national environmental pol­it­ics. In recent years he has also been engaged in inter­national health po­li­cy.
