Articles with CC-license

All scientific articles submitted after 1 January 2020 are published under open access with the Creative Commons licence CC BY-ND 4.0. This licence allows free copying, distribution, and dissemination of the article in any medium or format, and for any purpose, including commercial use.

The conditions for such use are that you credit the authors and the source, and link to the Creative Commons licence. If you modify, adapt, or add to the article, the altered article cannot be distributed.

Images, illustrations, and other elements are generally also covered by the CC licence unless otherwise stated in the image caption. If any elements are copyrighted, the rights holder must be contacted for reuse.

The Journal does not permit articles published with the CC BY-ND licence to be used for training language models or similar artificial intelligence systems.

The published article may be freely deposited in a knowledge archive without delay.

In accordance with Plan S, the authors retain copyright to articles published under open access in the Journal.
